the FOUND Side of Lost

prayers out of chaos

We sometimes place prayers
that we need answered
on our beside tables,
waiting patiently for gurus, gods
and fairies to make their way in
to explode the tornadoes,
one hurt at a time.
This is when past and present meet
Life and death seek friendship
Truth opens and lies dissolve
Relentless egos and graceful humility
crash into each other
Order doesn’t come from chaos
Order exists in chaos
Life happens in the silence
found between transitional worlds
when we’re asked to make the choice
between creating or destroying
When we make the choice
between love or hate,
pain or forgiveness
Life happens in the silence of our prayers.
